The RedZone Podcast – December 8, 2022
December 8, 2022
There’s a passing of the torch in this final, longer edition of the RedZone pod for 2022- Dane Dreyfus, in his last show, is joined by new permanent co-host Braden Fogerson. Alongside host Mikey Fornelli, the trio opens the show discussing Redbirds men’s basketball, who have bounced back after a slow start with a few solid wins in a row. After the hot stove in MLB free agency heated up this week, the guys discuss what deals have been made for local teams and what could still be to come (11:47). Next, Heisman Award and College Football Playoff picks come, with debate about some of the best candidates (31:37). Producer David Moses, who is home with an injury, calls in to the show for Pick Six, the final live picks of the year, although picks will still be posted through the rest of the season on @wzndsports on Twitter (37:47). In a special extended final segment, Mikey, Braden, and David interview Dane about his time at ISU, with WZND, on RedZone, and what he’s thankful for ahead of graduation. Dane then closes out his final show himself, as this semester of the RedZone comes to a close (54:45).
Thank you to all who listened in live and online this semester, we appreciate you! RedZone, hosted by Mikey Fornelli, Braden Fogerson, and David Moses, will be back on Thursday, January 19.
