NORMAL, Ill – The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University has opened a new exhibit for the public to visit.
University Galleries, located at 11 Uptown Circle Suite 103, is a unit of the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University. Designing discoveries, the current exhibition at University Galleries, is a collaboration with ISU students who came in and got the opportunity to design how the exhibition and how the art looked. By placing their artwork where they felt encapsulated Designing Discoveries, they were able to add their own personal touch.
This exhibition features a selection of projects from the last four decades in celebration of the Design Streak Studio’s 40th anniversary.
The exhibition is centered around service design a promotes experimentation, discovery, and service learning. Walking through the studio provides a unique experience for every visitor allowing for the interpretation of each person who visits the exhibit.
Designing Discoveries is open through Dec. 18. All events are free and are open to the public.
