Bloomington HS Purple Raiders Look to Get Even Against Undefeated Chargers

The Bloomington Purple Raiders will take on the Centennial Chargers Friday September 30th at 7 p.m. 

Bloomington’s coming into this game after losing to Normal Community last week, 35-7. The Purple Raiders are 2-3 on the season. The matches where they came out victorious have been close matches until the end.  

With half the season being completed, Bloomington needs to rack up wins as the state playoffs are approaching.  

In this week’s matchup, Bloomington will be in for a tough game. The Centennial Chargers are 5-0 on the season. Each game they have won has been a significant margin, including a 69-20 win against the Manuel Rams. 

Bloomington will need a huge game from their defense this week. Centennial’s offense has been putting up huge numbers on the offensive side of the ball.  

This game will be a huge statement going into the second half of the season. Both teams are looking to capitalize on their seasons with a win this week.
