Illinois State University Students thoughts about Festival ISU

NORMAL, Ill. — Festival ISU is an opportunity for Illinois State University students to learn about different organizations on campus and find what interests students the most.
Many Registered Student Organizations showed up for Festival ISU and were able to show what their RSO’s do and represent
Karsten Simmons, a Senior at ISU, discussed how Festival is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and connect with one another.
“Connections are everything, and I just thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, It’s fun,” Simmons said.
Simmons also explained how tabling with his fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi allowed for connections to be made with new students and prospective members.
Sterling Mathis, a Graduate Student at ISU, discussed how meeting new people makes an impact at Illinois State University.
“This gives them an opportunity to explore the inclusiveness that surrounds ISU,” Mathis said.
Festival ISU remains an annual event to expose students, new and returning, to the many events, clubs and organizations Illinois State has to offer.
