Illinois State to allow fans for MVC volleyball tournament

NORMAL Ill.- For the first time since Nov. 23, 2019, the Illinois State volleyball team will welcome spectators to Redbird Arena for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. In an announcement made on Thursday afternoon, Redbird Athletics made the move to allow 25% of fans, which adds up to 2,400 seats being made available to fans. For safety precautions, physically distanced reserved seating and fans being required to wear a face covering while inside Redbird Arena will be mandatory.
Throughout the latter half of the spring season, family members of team members have been admitted to matches, but this would be only the second venue at Illinois State to allow more than 50 family spectators. The first being Redbird footballs, Hancock Stadium, admittance of 20% of full capacity. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. on March 26 at GoRedbirds.com or by calling the ISU Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.
Ticket prices for the three-day spectacle are as followed below:
One Session: $10
All-Sessions: $30
College students will qualify for free entry if able to present their student ID at the North Entrance.
