Round Two of the War on 74 Takes Place in Peoria

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State faces off against Bradley for the 144th time Saturday night.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m. inside Carver Arena. Bradley leads the all-time series inside Carver Arena 49- 21. Overall, Bradley leads 76-67.
In the last matchup back on Jan. 17, the Redbirds came away with a dominant victory, 88-62. Boden Skunberg was the leading scorer with 23 points, followed closely behind by Chase Walker with 20. Landon Moore was also in double digits with 10 points.
On Bradley’s end Demarion Burch was the leading scorer with just 12 points. AJ Smith had 11, and Jaquan Johnson had 1o to round out the Braves double digit scorers.
The Redbirds come into the game with an 18-10 record and are 10-7 in Missouri Valley Conference play, following a win against Murray State on Wednesday. ISU’s leading scorer is Johnny Kinziger with 12 points per game. A big story coming into the game is whether big man Chase Walker will play after missing the past two games with a hamstring injury.
Bradley’s record coming into the matchup is 18-10 as well, with a MVC record of 11-6. The Braves fell in a matchup to Valparaiso on Wednesday in their most recent game. The Braves are led by Jaquan Johnson, who averages 17 points a game.
