Bloomington-Normal crime report 10/6-10

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State University Police responded to several incidents this week.
On Monday, the ISU Police Department received a report of a motor vehicle burglary near the 700 block of North Main Street. Later that evening, around 9 p.m., officers also responded to a battery incident at Watterson Towers.
On Wednesday, police investigated a hate crime at Watterson Towers around 10 p.m.. That same day, an incident involving failure to remain at the scene of an accident occurred near the 400 block of South School Street.
On Thursday, ISUPD received a report of an unauthorized video recording at Cardinal Court. A domestic dispute was also reported there on Friday.
The Normal Police Department handled several additional cases throughout the week. On Monday, officers responded to a case of arson, followed by reports of retail theft on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, NPD conducted an investigation involving a deceased individual and filed criminal charges related to a dog bite. Finally, on Friday, the department received reports of identity theft and fraud.
