IHSA Football Week 6 Recap

NORMAL, Ill. – Offenses were all across the fields for Week 6 in Bloomington/Normal.

Normal Community won a shootout against Bloomington this past Friday night. The final score was 56 to 42. The Ironmen’s record is now sitting at 5-1, and the Ironmen are in action on October 10th at 7 p.m. at Danville.

The Purple Raiders suffered their first loss of the season and now have a record of 5-1. On Friday night, Bloomington will play Peoria Notre Dame on the road at 7 p.m.

Bloomington Central Catholic won this past Friday night against St. Teresa 61 to 21. The Saints remain undefeated on the season with a record of 6-0. The Saints are home on Friday night against St. Joseph-Ogden at 7 p.m.

Normal West was victorious in another high-scoring game against Waubonsie Valley. The final score was 40 to 35, improving the Wildcats’ record to 4-2. Normal West is home on Friday at 7 p.m., hosting Peoria Manuel.

Normal University was shut out on Friday night by Glenwood 42 to 0. U-High’s record moves to 2-4 on the season. Next Friday, the Pioneers are back home and are hosting Decatur Eisenhower at 7 p.m.
