Led Zeppelin 2 Review

Classic rock has always played a huge role in my life. I grew up listening to my parents’ music and share a passion for 70s and 80s rock music with my mom. Getting to see Led Zeppelin 2 has for sure rekindled my love for classic rock! Led Zeppelin 2 is a cover band that imitates classic rock band legend, Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin 2 consists of Bruce Lamont on vocals, Jarrett Philip Donoghue on guitar, Matthew Longbons on bass, and Greg Fundis on drums. Formed on Chicago’s south side, Led Zeppelin 2 has been in the game for over 20 years. The band demonstrated their hefty experience by showcasing their insane skills! I was blown away from the skill of each band member. You had Longbons’s range in playing different instruments, Donoghue’s impressive skills on the guitar including switching types of guitars throughout the show, Fundis’s speed and precision on the drums, and Lamont’s insane
high notes. The venue itself really caught my eye going in. Led Zeppelin 2 performed at The Castle Theater, located in the heart of downtown Bloomington. From the outside, this theater has a retro vibe with how amazing their marquee is. I definitely love taking pictures outside with it, it’s beautiful. The inside is also just as amazing. They have a pretty decent sized bar, and they gave out complimentary water, which is super nice when
you’ve been dancing! Plus the staff is seriously the nicest and it made the experience all the better! This theater is mainly standing room only which is super great for the dance party, and the stage is just the perfect size for everyone to see. What also caught my eye was the audience. The main demographic there was people
of middle age with a smaller number of various young people. But age did not make a difference at all as I watched audience members connect over their love of Led Zeppelin. From singing together to grooving together, this was one of the best audiences I have ever experienced! All in all, this was one of my favorite shows ever, and I can’t wait to see more rock shows at the Castle Theater!
