NORMAL – Illinois State University students and staff were welcomed back from spring break with some new additions to the ISU campus. Qdoba and Starbucks were added on to the Bone Student Center for the revitalization project that has been going on for over a year.
While Pizza Hut and McAlister’s are still in the building, Burger King and Einstein’s Bagel’s have been removed to make room for different options. One will be an Asian cuisine restaurant and the other an American grill restaurant.
The new renovations have given students and staff additional options for dining, relaxing, and a new space to socialize or work on school. With all the new changes to the campus, Creighton Lisowski, an ISU student, shared his opinion on the dining additions to the Bone Student Center.
“I just like having more options for everything, you know?” said Lisowski. “It used to be your only real option was to get Burger King or McAlister’s, but now we’re going to have a couple of more places to go to get different food and that’s just a nice thing overall.”
As for now, the revitalization project continues with it’s construction as the restaurants look to have a successful first few weeks.
