Illinois State Hosts Belmont in Regular Season Finale

NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbirds take the court inside CEFCU for the final time in the 2025-26 regular season.
ISU hosts the Belmont Bruins on March 1st at 4 p.m. inside CEFCU Arena. This is the second meeting of these two teams this season, with the first matchup in Nashville on January 24th. Belmont came away with the win 80-69.
Belmont’s Jabez Jenkins was the leading scorer for the game with 14 points. Tyler Lundblade was another double-digit scorer with 11. On ISU’s end, Johnny Kinziger was one of five Redbirds in double-digits with a high of 13 points. Chase Walker and Ty Pence had 12, while Ty’Reek Coleman and Boden Skunberg both had 10 points.
The leading scorer for ISU is Walker, who averages 14 points a game. Coleman and Kinziger both average 11, with Skunberg behind them with 10 points per game.
For the Bruins, Lundblade scores 16 points a game. Sam Orme is second as he averages 13 points per game. Drew Scharnowski and Nic McClain round out the Bruin double-digit scorers with 11 points per game.
