Battle of the Bands: Next Gen
WZND is partnering with The Castle Theatre in Downtown Bloomington to host Battle of the Bands: Next Gen. Battle of the Bands is on Thursday, November 14th, at The Castle Theatre (209 E Washington Street, Bloomington, IL). Bands performing include Blind Baby, Loose 9000, Cats and Dragons, From Within, Peng, Short Notice, and The Occasion. Tickets are available both online before the show for $15 and the day of the show for $20. Doors open at 5:30pm, and music starts at 6:30pm. Each ticketholder gets one vote, with up to five additional votes available through donating to the School Street Food Pantry.
Each donation earns a ticketholder one additional vote for their band of choice, up to five additional votes. There is no maximum amount of donations a ticketholder can make, only a maximum of additional votes they can earn.
School Street Food Pantry is currently looking for the following items:
- Personal care items
- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap/body wash, band-aids, deodorant, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, dish detergent, feminine care products, etc.
- Mac and cheese
- Peanut butter
- Boxed cereal
- Ramen
- Soup
- Pasta/Pasta sauce
- Oatmeal packets
