Armed Robbery in Normal

NORMAL, Ill. – The Normal Police Department is investigating an armed robbery with a knife at 315 West Beaufort St. near Uptown.
The robbery occurred at approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday evening at the 707 Liquor Mart across from the Watterson Tower dormitories.
The suspect is described as a black male, who fled the scene on foot wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants.
Police are continuing to monitor and investigate the incident, and urge anyone with information to come forward and reach out at 309-454-9535.
