Ameren and ISU Facilities address campus power outage

NORMAL, Ill.  – The Facilities team at ISU is working with Ameren to find a cause of todays partial power outage. An expected restoration time has not been released.

The outage is localized to the Quad, affecting Cook, Edwards, Schroeder, Felmley, Moulton, Hovey and Williams Halls. Old Union and both Centennial East and West are also experiencing the effects of the outage. Communal spaces like the Bone Student Center, Watterson Dining Commons and Student Fitness Center are still operating normally.

Human resources has provided directions to supervisors and will share more information as needed. Students are encouraged to monitor their email and communicate with their professor/instructor if their classroom space is effected by the outage.

The facilities team will send an update to campus when additional information is available.
