Redbirds Lose the War on I-74 in a Heartbreaker

NORMAL- The Illinois State Redbirds fell to the Bradley Braves in their last home game of the season 74-71 in overtime.
Zach Copeland has carried the Redbirds this season but struggled offensively against Bradley Wednesday night. The senior shot just 3 of 19 from the field and 2 of 11 from beyond the arc.
“He’s got to make better decisions at the rim number one a lot of his shots at the rim were bad shots.” said Coach Muller about Copeland’s performance.
The Redbirds were led by Keith Fisher III with 23 points and 8 rebounds, Despite his struggles Copeland tallied 16 points in the loss, the majority of which came from the free-throw line.
The Redbirds are back in action Saturday afternoon as they travel to Evansville for the regular season finale at 1:00.
