Crime Beat 9/14-9/18

NORMAL, Ill. – As Illinois State University wrapped up its fifth week of the fall semester, the ISU Police Department responded to a variety of incidents.

ISUPD handled two domestic batteries, one on the 11th and the other on the 12th, as well as one domestic dispute on the 14th. In one domestic battery, illegal underage consumption of alcohol was also involved.

The department also responded to two thefts on the 11th and 14th, respectively. 

The ISUPD also handled two mental health cases on the 14th and 15th, and a lost property case on the 15th as well. On the 10th and 13th, there were two separate cases of individuals failing to remain at the scene of vehicular accidents. 

The department also responded to a case of non-consensual dissemination of sexually explicit digitized material on the 14th, with that case still pending.
