NORMAL, Ill. – Voters cast 13,614 ballots in the Illinois primary election in McLean County, out of 62,078 registered voters.

In the city of Bloomington, 10,688 ballots were cast out of 52,315 registered voters.

The unofficial results for McLean County are as follows:

 

Federal

U.S. Senator

Don Tracy (Rep) won with 2,679 votes, and Juliana Stratton (Dem) won with 3,801 votes.

 

Representative in Congress

In district 16, Darin LaHood (Rep) won uncontested with 4,605 votes, and Paul Nolley (Dem) won uncontested with 3,313 votes.

In district 17, Dillan S. Vancil (Rep) won with 990 votes, and Eric Sorensen (Dem) won uncontested with 3,318 votes.

Governor and Lieutenant Governor

Darren Bailey (Rep) won with 4,111 votes, and JB Pritzker (Dem) won uncontested with 6,818 votes.

 

Attorney General

Robert W. Fioretti (Rep) won uncontested with 5,993 votes, and Kwame Raoul (Dem) won uncontested with 6,721 votes.

 

Secretary of State 

Diane M. Harris (Rep) won with 3,537 votes, and Alexi Giannoulias (Dem) won uncontested with 6,783 votes.

 

Comptroller

Bryan Drew (Rep) won uncontested with 6,012 votes, and Holly Kim (Dem) won with 2,427 votes.

 

Treasurer

Michael W. Frerichs (Dem) won uncontested with 6,635 votes. There were 809 republican write-ins.

 

State Senator

In District 44, Sally J. Turner (Rep) won uncontested with 2,889 votes, and no democratic candidate ran.

In District 53, Chris Balkema (Rep) won uncontested with 1,698 votes, and no democratic candidate ran.

In District 87, William E. Hauter (Rep) won uncontested with 803 votes, and no democratic candidate ran.

In District 88, Regan Deering (Rep) won uncontested with 2,101 votes, and no democratic candidate ran.

In District 105, Tim Ruetman (Rep) won uncontested with 1,443 votes, and no democratic candidate ran.

In District 3, Brian Bangert (Rep) won uncontested with 1,078 votes, and Rick Perez Jr. (Dem) won uncontested with 588 votes.

In District 4, Jerry Klinkner (Rep) won uncontested with 620 votes, and William Bessler (Dem) won uncontested with 1,330 votes.

In District 5, Jeffery K. Lord (Rep) won uncontested with 785 votes, and Buck Farley (Dem) won uncontested with 1,425 votes.

In District 6, no republican candidate ran, and Beverly A. Bell (Dem) won uncontested with 1,335 votes.

In District 7, Geoff Tompkins (Rep) won uncontested with 763 votes, and John D. Poling (Dem) won uncontested with 1,426 votes. This was the only race where the City of Bloomington’s votes were taken into account.

In District 8, no republican candidate ran, Lea Cline (Dem) won uncontested with 11 votes.

In District 9, no republican candidate ran, and Jennifer Brown (Dem) won uncontested with 11 votes.

In District 10, Matt Steinkoenig (Rep) won uncontested with 41 votes, and Corey TJ Beirne (Dem) won uncontested with 85 votes.
