Week 3 of Bloomington/Normal High School Football Recap

NORMAL, Ill. – Week 3 of High School Football was all about the offenses in Bloomington/Normal.
Bloomington High School continued its undefeated season after a victory over Manuel on Friday. The final score was 48 to 6, improving to 3 and 0 on the season. The Purple Raiders will host Normal West this Friday at 7.
Another team is staying undefeated after the Ironmen of Normal Community were victorious over Urbana. The Ironmen won by a score of 55 to 7 and also improved their record to 3-0. Next Friday night, Normal Community hosts Kankakee at 7 p.m.
Normal West bounced back after a loss in week 2 after defeating Danville High School. The Wildcats won by a final score of 49 to 6 to get back a winning record of 2-1. Normal West will travel to Peoria this coming Friday at 7 p.m. to face Peoria Notre Dame.
Bloomington Central Catholic won a close one against Tolono Unity to remain unbeaten. The Saints won with a final score of 34 to 27, improving to 3 and 0. Bloomington Central Catholic is home this coming Friday at 7 p.m. as they host Rantoul High School.
Normal University traveled to MacArthur on Friday night after falling to Bloomington High School the previous week. The Pioneers lost a close one to MacArthur by a score of 28 to 27, making their record 1-2 on the early season. Next week, U-High will travel to Lincoln on the 19th to play at 7 p.m.
