Normal police investigate shots fired near a party Sunday morning

NORMAL –  Normal Police responded to several fights at a large party in the area of University Court near Willow Street.  The incident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 3:00 AM.

Witnesses reported hearing two gunshots nearby and observing two unknown suspects fleeing the area.

Shell casings were later found in the vicinity, but no injuries were reported.

Normal Police is continuing to investigate this incident.
