Bloomington Police asking for publics help in armed robbery

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police Department are asking for the public’s help after an armed robbery took place early Thursday morning.

BPD responded to the 1700 Block of RT Dunn Drive for an armed robbery report at 1:17 a.m.

According to a Press Release, a 32-year-old male was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects. During the incident, the victim was approached by a female suspect who asked him for directions. Shortly after, a male suspect approached and displayed a handgun, and demanded the victim get on the ground. As the victim was laying down, the male suspect fire his handgun twice. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and they fled in two separate vehicles.

BPD say that the suspects are describes as a white female, dark hair, approximately 5’5″ in height, and 140 to 180 pounds in weight. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
